Set up and perform survey/questionnaires (US3226)

The Standard checkpoint module has been extended and support for questions and answers has been added. Questions are created as Standard checkpoints of type Question:

Each question can have a different answer type:

Drop down lists and radio buttons can have multiple answers whilst the other types only have one answer.

It is possible to create a flat list of questions that need to be answered and then create a Standard checklist that is connected to all of those questions (Standard checkpoints).

However, if the answers can lead to different paths (i.e. answer YES leads to one question whilst answer NO leads to another question) then each questions should get a Standard checkpoint answer with a target questions (the next question):

With this, one can create a survey flow that leads to different paths based on different answers.

In this case one should only connect the first question (Standard checkpoint) to a Standard checklist:

To perform the survey it is possible to follow the same rules as for Checklists and perform it on a Work order (for example create a Standard task with the Survey-standard checklist that results in a Task that then results in a Work order).

However, it is also possible to perform it without any connection to work orders by using a new action called Register new Question Schema. That requires that the Standard checklist has been connected to a Checkword item:

The new action is accessible as a No-select action in work orders and incidents. In the action the user first selects a location and then the schema to be filled out:

The user then goes through the questions until all have been answered. When the action is run an Incident is created and the resulting survey is connected to the incident.

It is possible to see the already filled out result by clicking on a new value translator (that is accessible in work orders and incidents):

This value translator also works to open normal checklists (even if more than one checklist on work order/incident).

It is important to note that question checkpoints also work within our normal checklists (the new action is intended for lists that ONLY consists of questions):
