Article summary

Introduction

On 1st of march 2024 we will release version 20.16 of MainManager FM web. Apps will be updated in the week after or no later than 8.march 2024.

Here we will list up the new features that this release will contain and describe the error fixes that have been done. By looking at the articles you can select from the left tree you will find information on what is new and fixed in each of the processes and one article describing general fixes.

Each process article contains two chapters. First one lists up all the new features that are available (most of them by configuration) after the release update and the second chapter is to list up all the error fixes. At this point release notes are in process so final version will be ready on release date.

If further information is needed please contact your MainManager contact, send an inquiry to info@mainmanager.com or call us at +354 412 8600.

New features

Load on Demand in Trees (EMM-161)

Load on demand has been implemented for the main object tree and the organisation tree. To enable the load on demand in trees then this settings has to be turned on under system settings:

Each level in the tree will be loaded in one call to the web-server through an API call. When node is expanded then a new call will be made to the web-server.

All searching in the tree will be done server-side.

This will make huge impact on the performance for customers that have:

  1. Tens of thousands of objects on a site

  2. Tens/hundreds of thousands of organisation registrations

If the selected item in the tree is found then all nodes on the branch of the item will be expanded and scrolled into the selected item:

If number of companies exceed 1000 in the organisation tree then a folder structure will automatically be created as top-level node.

Under 1000 items, no folder structure:

Over 1000 items, folder structure automatically created:
