Article summary

Top filter

Most modules within the MainManager system have filtering.

If the module shows data in list that is related to an object, then there is a filter above that shows locations, i.e. portfolio, site and object. The contents of these drop down lists depend on which portfolios (and sites) the user has access to view.

In the top filter it is possible to filter the data by location/object

Right filter

In the upper right corner there is a detailed filter for the module the user is working in. The color of the filter button indicates whether the filter is empty or active (has some content that limits the list / tree view).

Empty filter
Active filter

When the user presses the filter button, the filter opens and content can be selected to filter on. When the user presses outside the filter, the filter view will disappear again. If you want to quickly turn off all filter selection, you can press "X" in the filter button and all filter values will be emptied.

Filtering active (incident module)

Pin / Unpin filter

User can pin the filter area by pressing Pin when filter view is open. After this, the filter area becomes fixed throughout the system. The user can easily release the filter again in the same manner.

Template

User can save the selection made in the filter by saving it as a template. After the user has selected content in the filter to be saved, click Show behind Templates text and then a new template can be added. It can be saved for personal use (only this particular user can view and select it) or Global (all users with access to this module can view and select it).

Filter with a template

If the user selects a template that already exists, the filter values will change to the ones saved in the template.

To delete a template, the user must tap the trash can next to that template.
