Locate drawing icons

Here it is possible to visualize the location of the objects created from example SfB or CCS as an icon on the floor plan.

Drawing layer

A drawing layer is a layer that is placed on top of the floor plan. A drawing layer can contain all object types or specific object types such as fire objects, it is up to the user's needs. To create a new drawing layer, open the filter (a) and press the three dots (b) above the "Drawing layer" field and select "Show data in popup list" (c).

Now the drawing layers that have been created are displayed. Press + (d) to create a new drawing layer. A window will then open where the drawing layer can be given a name, a number and a color.

It is also possible to change the name, number and color of created drawing layers by opening the drawing layer on the green icon on the line (e).

Locate the icons/objects

To be able to place the icons on the floor plan, the floor must be selected in the Object field (f), the 2D view switched on (g) and a drawing layer (h) and a system type (i) must be selected in the filter.

It is then possible to use drag & drop to place the objects from the right side to the floor plan on the left side.

The blue folders (j) show already created objects on the property that can be located on the drawing. The red folders (k) show the available object structure, and if objects are dragged from here, new objects will be created at the same time as the location.

General editing of the icons

It is possible to give the object types their own icon to give a better overview of the placed objects. This is done by right-clicking on the object (l) in the red structure and selecting "Open" (m).

It is then possible to choose whether it should be a font awesome icon* or an image that is uploaded (n). If it is a font awesome icon, the color can be changed (o).

Customization of the individual icon

To make an adjustment of an icon on the floor plan, right-click on the icon (p) and select "Edit drawing icon" (q).

Here it is possible to change the color (r), size (s) and rotate the icon (t).
