Build organisation trees

General information

This step is used to place persons in an organisational chart i.e. create employees by locating them in companies or possibly department or a division. Organisational data can also be created and maintained, but it may be that the system is integrated with an external organizational system and the source is maintained from there.

When an employee is created, the user automatically gets the rights to the data (site or portfolios) associated to the organisation.

Left side

Here, the entire organisational chart with employees in the system is shown. User can expand the tree by clicking the arrows to see details of structure and where employees are located.

To create an organisation press the plus button above on the left side.

Right side

On the right side all persons in the system are displayed. If one or more organisations are affiliated, the name appears in bold and a subsequent bracket shows the number of organisations that the person is located in, expand to see which organisations. If a person is not affiliated with an organisation it might cause that the user does not see any site data in the system.

To create a person, press the plus button above on the right side.
