Release 20.18 General

Introduction

On 6th of September 2024 we will release version 20.18 of MainManager FM web.

Here we will list up the new features that this release will contain and describe the error fixes that have been done. By looking at the articles you can select from the left tree you will find information on what is new and fixed in each of the processes and one article describing general fixes.

Each process article contains two chapters. First one lists up all the new features that are available (most of them by configuration) after the release update and the second chapter is to list up all the error fixes. At this point release notes are in process so final version will be ready on release date.

Improvements according to WCAG standards (EMM-1908)

We are continuously improving the system so it better supports WCAG standards. This version will include the following improvements:

• HTML elements were given roles and aria labels where they were missing, to improve screen reader usability

• Keyboard accessibility added in places where it was missing and improved where it was lacking

• Text contrast improved in a few places, examples:

• Improved usability when zoomed-in, some examples:

  • Navigation menu button adapts better to show the button text when there is space

Extended address search for Geoapify (EMM-2139)

For customers with sites around the world now possible to use global address search (Geoapify)

To activate that choose <Geoapify> as default address webservice. Default it only searches in the country registered as Culture but to let it search in a number of countries, enter the country codes (https://www.iban.com/country-codes) in the <Geopapify country codes> field. Then address lookup is also done there. Example below sets the system to lookup addresses in Norway, Denmark and Germany

Bug fixes

When My page snapshot is saved, the correct location in process is also saved (not routed to first menu item that you have access to of that kind) (EMM-2273)
